What the glock?

I've noticed a trend in the amount of play the glockenspiel has been getting lately. Where is this coming from? Seriously? I might understand some accordian action or maybe a rogue oboe, but glockenspiel? Amaze-balls.

(belated) Music Monday

Oh, how I wish Menomena would come to Texas, leaving their lush Portland lives behind to let me shake my booty here in Dallas. (Though would make the drive to Austin.) Chances? Very slim. Especially as they are on the Australian leg of the tour. In the meanwhile, I'll just be all hepcat with Taos. Enjoy.
