SYTYCD - Who is left?

Last week I was traveling for business in North Carolina and missed the show. This week, I started watching halfway through ... Hubster needed to get supplemental duds at Academy Sports and we didn't make it home in time.

So let me comment on the few things I was able to see.

Kat has a wicked goth dominatrix number with fierce black eyeshadow. Would not be able to pull that off myself.
Fikshun was pretty great, but I couldn't take my eyes off his partner.
I love that song "Clarity" for the Romeo and Juliet routine.
Comfort still has rocking abs. Paul can hip hop! Not just a Latin dancer.
Hayley and Dmitri. I forgot how ... Masculine he is. Great routine.
Oh I missed Mark! That was weird and awesome. Jenna's got gums.
Twitch and Jasmine. Meh. It was super hero lacking the super... Or hero. She's done better.
Travis is up with Amy. I'm annoyed with the girlie cheers from the audience. But it was a lovely routine.

Okay, I'm stopping now.
Have to watch the end of Dexter and get Halloween invites out.

Odie

Odin "Odie" Eckert went peacefully to doggy heaven on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 7:30 am.
Odie was a loving, sweet pug. Not much of a snuggler, he would show his affection most through playing tug of war, jazz paws and with his favorite teddy bears.  He loved his bitty beddy and you could find him most often snoring away with his head on top of Larry the Lizard. He hated going on walks, but he would waddle around around the block with his Dadda and really didn't even need a leash.  Of his siblings, Odie was the most house trained and always used the doggy door, even if it was raining.
Odie leaves behind a very sad pug clan; his brothers Mooch and Rugen, and little sister Nadia, along with his Mumma and Dadda. Rest in peace Odie Monster.

SYTYCD Top 12, season 10

When we lived in San Diego, I think we used the air conditioner twice in three years. Now that we live in Texas, it is constantly running... Either to warm up in the winter or cool down now. It's 105 degrees outside people! So it should be no surprise that our a/c has called it quits and I'm sitting here in my underwear. Boopins are miserable and panting. Hubs says we're at 86 now indoors. Blarg. Repairs sometime tomorrow between 1 and 6 pm.

So in lieu of a usual detailed SYTYCD posting, I'm doing the highlights. I feel like a sweaty muppet.

Opening number was an awesome Bollywood number. Now THAT is how you lose weight...

UPDATE, MORNING AFTER: There was a lot more to this post but somehow I inadvertently deleted it.  I'm not going to try and recreate as it wasn't that thrilling of a read.  And I kept complaining about the heat.

Cross your fingers that my A/C gets fixed today and it's under warranty.

Music Monday - Honeypot by Bob Schneider

Hello my three readers. Did you miss me? I missed you.

I love my job. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. I learn new things everyday, but I do miss the times afforded for posting here. Apparently, there are behind-the-scenes whispers that I "poop rainbows for my job". Well, I'm okay with that.

So today's Music Monday is a cool groove by Bob Schneider called "Honeypot". I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

And while you're at it... check out "Love Illumination" by Franz Ferdinand. Epic smurfiness.
